Thermally induced failure mechanisms in double and triple cations perovskite solar cells

The control of the cation composition formamidinium (FA), methylammonium (MA), and cesium (Cs) has been used to engineer significant improvements in organic–inorganic perovskite solar cells. However, thermal stability mixed-cation cells is not fully understood. In this work, we present results an experimental study double-cation perovskites [(FAPbI 3 ) 0.97 (MAPbBr 0.03 ] [(FAMA)-perovskite (PSCs)] triple-cation based-perovskites [Cs 0.05 (FA 0.95 MA Pb(I Br [(CsFAMA)-PSCs] operated between 40 60°C. thermally induced changes film microstructure are elucidated via scanning electron microscopy x-ray diffraction analyses, these related optoelectronic properties, charge transport, current–voltage characteristics (FAMA)-PSCs (CsFAMA)-PSCs. implications observed degradation mechanisms also discussed for future development efficient stable PSCs.
